A serenade to my lover…

There was a girl,

A daughter of the moon and rain,

She would have tea with the stars,

And joke with the sun,

With her touch,

Flowers bloomed and the sky trembled,

The tide was based on her mood,

And the paper rejoiced at her pencil,

Alas! Only they would let her in,

Not those of her kind,

Her beauty; they did not appreciate,

Or her deep ways,

She turned blunt for them,

Only to be called rude,

-But one fine day,

You came upon her shabby disoriented figure,

Picking up the pieces of her heart,

Yet you kneeled beside the tiny creature,

And helped her gather them up,

You put her heart together,

Listened to her every word,

You loved her more than any other,

You fell for her screams,

It was only you that her unstable mind fascinated,

Or her eyes showed their dying spark to,

You burned the candle again,

Unaware that this romantic,

Had been looking for you.
