Today,

I felt a little deader inside,

Today,

I also felt a little more alive inside,

As I lay on my couch,

Feeling nothing,

Simply existing with my music,

I felt as though a part of me,

That had been alive for too long-

Died,

And a part of me that had been dead for too long-

Came alive,

And maybe,

For the first time in life,

I won’t try to figure out,

What those parts were,

What they brought,

And,

What they took away,

Because life has taught me that,

Sometimes,

You don’t have to figure out,

What is happening,

Sometimes,

You just have to let life,

And all that happens in it,

Be,

Unknown,

A mystery,

But existing,

Happening,

And being.
