No one talks about,
The silent tears I cry,
In the bed, under the night sky,
Or the silent laughter we share,
Between family and friends,
They don’t say it’s ok,
To the silent apology,
I almost deleted,
Or the diary entry,
In my book-
That I tore and threw away;
They avoid the unheard screams,
Of pain from far away,
In agony and ignorance,
That hides their pain,
No one talks,
About the smile I couldn’t give,
Because they seemed out of reach,
And why don’t they ever notice,
The pain we hide in our screams?
