My father loves my mother,

And it shows,

When she shows him a dress and he can’t react how she wants,

So, his search history is filled with variations of,

How to compliment your wife properly.

My uncle loves my aunt,

And it shows,

In how he takes on an extra blanket when she needs the AC high,

Or how he wears shorts,

When she feels too cold in the summer breeze,

My grandfather loves my grandmother,

And it shows,

When he makes her a breakfast in bed,

After the silliest argument,

Even though his back cant stand standing for more than 5 minutes,

And when I look at them,

All I wonder is can you love me like that too,

When one day,

My face is wrinkled,

And your back is giving out,

And our home is a sepia we never asked for,

With a black cat curling at your feet,

Or a dog barks from beneath.
