Walk through the city of life…

Walk,

Run,

Fly,

And fall,

Is everything you ever did,

The house of childhood you were born in,

The shop of relatives;

Where only a few were needed,

The café of your teenage,

Is agony and study all you ordered?

Surely there was a drink,

Made with smiles and friends for life,

Don’t you remember it too?

Your pre-adulthood-

Started at 16,

Like a rented apartment,

That gave memories,

For evermore;

Now you finally have a place of your own,

Its tiny,

But trust me it stays,

Till your 30,

And want to update,

Walk,

Run,

Fly,

And fall,

Is everything you ever did,

So today take a break,

Look at the new day,

And this new place,

Look at how far you’ve come,

What you have become;

Because your walk,

Through the city of life,

Will continue,

But every place you stop at,

Will fade as you move,

So, savour this place,

Take a pause,

Before you walk ahead again.
